Worship

In Romans 12:1, Paul says, “Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship.”

As Christians, we are called to worship God in all areas of life. As a church we have the unique opportunity to gather for corporate worship on a regular basis. Since the resurrection of Jesus Christ believers have set aside Sunday as a special day to join our hearts in worship, to enjoy fellowship with another, and to hear teaching from the Bible.

On a typical Sunday at Woodlyn you can expect a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary praise songs. You will hear expository preaching grounded in the Bible, which is the ultimate source of truth and knowledge. You can also expect a warm welcome, so please come and join us!

No fancy dress is required; anything from casual to business attire can be seen on Sunday mornings. Our Sunday evening service is more casual.
