Home Meetings & Small Group Ministries

In t he early church the home was one of the thriving centers of the Christian community. The home continues today to be a great place for believers to gather together to help each other grow in their common faith and meet the challenges of a modern and complex society. The home is also a place where "seekers" can ask questions of a spiritual nature and find answers without feeling awkward or strange. Woodlyn Baptist Church offers a number of groups that meet throughout the week to offer just such encouragement and hope. Why not check out one of our Home Meetings or Small Groups and find out for yourself!

Why?
• To help each other see how great our God is in every way (worship).
• To help each other become more and more like Jesus Christ (sanctification).
• To raise up members of our church to be pray-ers (intercession).
• To seek and find our gifts and place in the Church by which all may serve Jesus Christ and our brothers and sisters (ministry).
• To encourage outreach to those unfamiliar with the good news of Jesus Christ and provide a place for seekers to see the love of God in action (evangelism).
• To seek, find, and train leaders (leadership).

How you can be involved?
• If you are a Christian and would like to grow in your faith…
• If you are a Christian and want find your place in God's house…
• If you are a Christian and are seeking to find and/or use the gifts God has given you…
• If you are a "Seeker" of the truth and are genuinely interested in finding answers to your questions…
