Adult Fellowship Ministries

The Adult Ministries include activities and events to promote friendship, unity and encouragement to all adults ages 18 years through ???! We also desire this to be a place where we can provide a non-threatening alternative for church members to invite family and friends.

What?
The Adult Committee arranges at least one monthly activity (eg: progressive dinner, bowling, concerts, trips)

The Adult Committee sponsors fellowships immediately following the morning church service on the 2nd Sunday of each month.

The Adult Committee hosts several dinners and events throughout the year such as a fall fellowship, a Christmas banquet, and a Mother's Day banquet.

The Adult Committee offers a Men's Breakfast every other month.

Who?
All adults ages 18 years and up are encouraged to attend and bring friends!
One does not need to be a member of Woodlyn Baptist Church to attend any of our functions.

Why?
Our purpose:

To provide a gathering for people to grow closer, thereby building our 'family of faith' here at Woodlyn Baptist.

To encourage one another in the Lord

To be a resource for believers to get counsel and unbelievers to meet people who can 'give a reason for the hope that is in them.'

To enjoy one another in the Lord.

To be a place that welcomes and encourages visitors.

How you can be involved?
Come to any or all activities and bring friends!

We can always use help with planning, setting up fellowships, cooking, and cleaning up after events. FEEL FREE to offer your helping hands! (You do not need to be a member of the church to help.)

If you have any ideas for activities or suggestions on ways to do things differently, please call the church office.

Other Groups of Interest
There is also a Young Adults group that has their own special activities (ages 18-29).

There is also a "Keenagers" group that has a special outing each month (ages 55 and up).
